Mastus Sword

Can anyone please tell me exactly where to find the mastus sword.. thanx

*spoiler* but that´s what you wanted right?!? Do you remember where you met the ghost Nivius, he who makes you swear the solemn vow and "gives" you the ring of the Mavin?!? There are four tombs in that area, Tomb of Nivius, Tomb of ?, Tomb of something and the Tomb of MASTUS! Look inside that tomb by the corpse!

The sword of Mastus is in one of the tombs you find after defeating scabban in the crypt. After you defeat him you flip the lever on the wall and dive into the water, take a short swim through a tunnel and you'll find four tombs. On the west side of the tombs you will find a submerged hallway with a key at the end, that key will open all of the tombs and you are home free.

Thanks, not sure why I left that area without lootin it completely. Oh well back to Nivius.

Welcome to the forum, Inbreed!

Sword of Mastus can be found in the lower crypt - area with several tombs (Tomb of Mastus, Tomb of Nivius, etc.). The sword is in the Tomb of Mastus.

I believe everyone knows this, but - just to be sure - you can get to lower crypt pushing the lever on the wall in the room with Scabban and jumping into the well in the same room. A little swimming through underwater tunnel - and you'll find yourself in the tomb area

Actually, I couldn't find the sword of mastus on my first two times through the area. It seems only to have spawned once I left the room, and reopened the door. Bug? After receiving some sage advice from this (blessed) forum, I returned a third time, closed and reopened the door, and there it was, where it wasn't the first time.
