I'm about to head in there, and I'd like to know if it's hard or not. Just want to see what I'm up against. No spoils please!

It can be a little hard, but the first part isn't to bad as you will face some blue mushroom people who's name evades me at this moment. They can do some weird stuff to your characters like berzerk or confuse, and they are usually in groups, they are not as bad as I describe them but they should not be taken lightly, use caution when dealing with them.
Then there are the Etins, big dumb two headed beast. There are only a few of these and they should be fairly easy ranged targets. Although one pointer try to fight only one at a time as they do pack a hard wallop that should be enough to kill a weak or weakend member of your party. Later on as you find your way on your path you will meat more cunnining opponents such as groups of neo-orcs, orc generals, and drow. You will need to determine the best tactics to use against these deadly foes. If you do get past these dangers than their are other dangers that lurk in the deep but then I will be giving away important details and I think I have done good thus far Sir Goulum. Good luck and may Helm watch over you and your party. [ 10-23-2002, 11:45 PM: Message edited by: pritchke ] |

The Drow are definitely a pain in the rear-end. I remember a couple of reloads during certain parts that became quite challenging. It could have had something to do w/ my party selection, as I really did not run into any problems until I was deep in the dorm. As stated before, don't let the Etins gang up on you as they will do some damage.
