No I never really wondered except maybe when I was very little. That's cos I always knew what population of the world was roughly and so I never had to wonder
I kept tabs on it I knew it was over 6 billion and that's as close as I need to know it.

Self limits *not government* to just 2 children and have them later in life. That will slow down the rate of poulation growth. And dare I even mention certain popular religions and the stupid anti birth control stance
