I find this site very scary. Thanks for posting it, but looking at it only makes me sad. It's like watching bacteria grow in a culture before your very eyes. You just know that someday, sooner or later, all that will be in the dish is bacteria, and no culture (food) will be left. Then it's time to clean the dish and get ready for the next bacteria.

I can almost visualize the mewling babies popping out all over the world at lightning speed.

Its a shame there isn't one that doesnt do births but does deaths, it would be even scarier...

No I never really wondered except maybe when I was very little. That's cos I always knew what population of the world was roughly and so I never had to wonder I kept tabs on it I knew it was over 6 billion and that's as close as I need to know it.

Actually, the ticker provided is total population, so it includes births AND deaths.

Self limits *not government* to just 2 children and have them later in life. That will slow down the rate of poulation growth. And dare I even mention certain popular religions and the stupid anti birth control stance
