Hah! The movie is an absolute LAUGH! If you've read the book! If you want fear, read the book. Truly terror.... Too bad that my favorite character dies though.

The book prevented me from sleeping well for almost a month..... I also kept a constant distance from sewer gratings and I never looked out of any windows at night for fear of seeing.... Pennywise. Bloody scary thing.

Probably because some of the scary part of thrillers are the characters' thoughts. Their fear.... You can really feel how the characters feel when you have their feelings described to you like that. In movies the only thing that can scare you is the "shock" effect where something suddenly bursts forth from somewhere or such....

And it will often happen with other genre aswell. For example, most Roald Dahl books have been turned into movies. Some have the only similarity as the title. Movies are *never* as good as books. |

Ahhh you had to do it didnt you
The very one book that scared the living hell out of me both as a child and an adult. Something about that book gives you serious Pennywise paranoia. Always gives you the feeling that he is standing right beside you |
