bin laden dead or still alive ?

lately we don't hear much news anymore here in holland about the war on terrorism. Not on tv and not in the papers, it's almost like nothing ever happened. I was just wondering if bin laden fled from afghanistan or died in the bombardments. And if he died and they identified his body, would they tell the world or cover it up, just to not piss off any other terrorist groups ? I for one would sleep a whole lot better if i knew that the friggin cameljockey and his buddies were dead and buried !

Dunno. I think their still looking for him although there is some speculation that he is dead or that he ran away into Pakistan.

I believe that he is still alive. Anyone who thinks bin Laden stayed in Afghanistan later than 30 September is engaging in wishful thinking; he skipped the country quickly after 11 September.
We Westerners will never find him alive; people like bin Laden will not allow themselves to be taken alive. I have always placed him in the same category as Jim Jones and David Koresh.
Unfortunately, this will mean that many people will not get the emotional closure that being able to put him on trial would bring. I am not always the bearer of good news....

I don't believe he'll ever be captured, except by pure dumb luck or stupidity on his part.

Of course, Bush would have us believe that he isn't a threat anymore.

He's still alive.

My personnal theory: He's on Malibu beach with his beard trimmed off. He's lost his Turban and his AK-47 in the process. He probably has a nice office job working for an enginering company in L.A. Ironnically, he moved to L.A. on Sept. 10th.

there are rumors that he is in pakistan,somalia,kashmir,saudi arabia,chechnya,georgia(the former SOVIET state),iran,or maybe still on the run in afganistan.

I would hazard a guess that he's back in Saudi Arabia with relatives or supporters providing sanctuary. He'll be back to cause trouble after things have cooled down. He's a bad penny.

I think Bin Laden is still alive. I have no idea where though (if i did i'd be looking for him $$$)
There was reports on the news that The Royal Marines were even having trouble finding the last of the Taliban troops scattered about the mountains. The expression "needle in a hay stack" comes to mind(again).
Another question what do you think should be done with Bin Laden after the British and Americans find him (if they ever do)?

What really matters is to stop his influence and his terrorist organization's influence. Now if this means freezing his funds and making him hide then he might as well be dead.
