Bayjin, ready to dive into the ocean to kill poor little Nessie

After so many failures, my expert Fighter/Bard/Gadgy-Party finished Bayjin. No bad luck, this time. They all have level 18 now and all have the same EP. The best game I ever had. Very hard at the beginnung but I never had more than 2 dead party members at a time.

After Nessie and Marten I'll enter the Rapax Area.

Weapons : Dracon Rogue : 2 Stilettos ( I love them )
Dwarf Fighter : Fang and Diamond Eyes
Mook Fighter ( ex Bard ) Giant's Sword
Fairie Rogue ( ex Gadgy ) : Staff of Doom
Felpurr Bard : Bloodlust
Human Gadgy : Omnigun only

I don't see a "real" enemy in the nearer future. Let'S see how hard AP on expert is.

When you start pumping strength for your rogue, you will want to pick up Thief's Daggers for the damage.

You will also find that your party will get pwned by psioninc beasties in the water. Without soul shield, you are sitting ducks (unless you got the saxamaphone from Saxx). Even if you are only level 18, it's possible to encounter level 23+ psionic beasties.

I 2nd Riftie. My party is lev 18 and still susceptible to Ensnaring Spiders. Killed 3, rested etc, but the next 3 did me in later. I know, not a Psi spell. Against psi critters the party still seems weak. Will find out in Bayjin. Having a psionic, though, I generally can un-insane the liz valk or felpurr sam before anyone gets kilt.

Update :

All seems too easy now. Party-Lvl 23. I'm at AP now, ready to open the first gate to insert the first artifact.

The last interesting combat for me now is the Soul-Eater. If I kill him without problems, I'll stop this game and think about a new challenge.
