can i get back to original game after beating HOW???

Ack! That bites that you lose the xp from defeating HoW if you go expansion only. How much xp is it?

So you can play a full game from Kuldahur to Lonleywood; defeat HoW and you are magicly transported back to Kuldahur to complete IWD? that i did not know! that's pretty cool i guess. But HoW is so much tougher, you'd almsot have to wait until right before fighting rev. Poqelin to go to Lonleywood. oh well, at least you can go back! cool beans!

I was a third of the way through Lower-Dorn and decided to go back to Kuldahar to resupply (needed arrows) and took the HOW option. I didn't finish all of HOW (wanted to get some more experience before the HOW final battle). I plan on going back to Lonleywood just before the IWD final battle.

My only concern is if the IWD final battle will be too easy or if the game somehow adjusts the final battle to the level of your party. I'll let you know next week.

Just crank up the difficulty to HoF mode right before you fight the final battle

Or another option is to poke yourself in the eye with a sharp stick, hehe!

Thanks for the suggestions. Maybe I'll cast Cloudkill and have a little dance party while waiting for that final dialogue to finish.
