paladin casting level?

like the title does anyone know the paladin casting level (and ranger too i guess for completeness)

the reason i ask, see, is that i've noticed that my level 16 cavalier is only summoning normal skeletons - and yes, i am aware of the slightly chancy role playing ethic of having a cavalier summon the undead

maybe another possible tweak area for six's class kit mod perhaps too

I believe Paladins & Rangers cast at (their actual level) - (the level at which they gained the ability to cast spells). So for Rangers, it's Level - 8, and for Paladins, Level - 9. So you can still summon your uberSkellies, you just have to wait longer.

I thought about boosting the trueclass Paladin's spellcasting levels, but that starts infringing in the trueclass Cleric's territory. And I can't raise the trueclass Cleric's casting levels without inadvertently doing the same thing for Dualed and Multiclass Clerics.

ah - that kinda makes sense - and some limited testing with SK shows me that level20 gets normals but level 27 gets skeleton warriors
