Actually, more like Hackett. Theodore's been playing suprisingly average since he signed that huge contract...kinda like what happened with the Flames and Roman Turek last year.

Didn't they say that Theodore came into this season overweight? All that money went to his head (along with the MVP, I think).

Wings win again, 2-1 in Toronto! It would've been terrible if we had only gotten one point, or heaven forbid, lost to the Maple Leafs. But all is still right in the world in this regard.

Guys often don't play well when playing against their former team (at their place) the first time. Hasek gave up 6 goals last year to Buffalo, and Chelios says he regrets playing at Chicago that first time he went back. Besides, the Wings don't like to have their goaltenders go back to back days.

BTW, I see that both the Flames and Oilers lost today.

Yeah, players don't tend to have great fun when returning to their old stomping grounds. I was at the first games that both Nieuwendyk and Fleury played back in the Saddledome, and I was very unenvious.

I think part of the problem is that while a single player having an off night doesn't usually extraordinarily worsen the team's hopes, when it's a goalie, it does.
