I have played through the game twice now, and I'm thinking of playing once more on the hardest setting or maybe ironman.
Question is do you get more EP for kills on the hard setting as opposed to the normal or easy settings. Thinking back to W&W where the harder setting spawned more monsters and you got more XP for them. The book says that Wiz8 will spawn more monsters but does anyone know if they are a higher EP..?? |

The monsters the pops out of nowhere to slain you are based on your current level. So expert mode will probably see more mosnters but it's also possible that the dice will be in favor of a better monster within the same class. So lets say that you are level 10 the monster can have arnage from 8-12 then you will have a level 12 monster pack.
But I'm making only suppositions here.

i have played different games on different settings and haven't seen any difference on how much exp a monster gives.
the only thing i have seen that makes any difference at all is, of course, trimming down your party size. and, so far, it's not that big a difference. altho in this game, the quartet is only lvl 13-ish. V***V

Vesselle, What does your party of 4 consist of..??
I would like to be able to get some real high levels in this game, but I can't see being able to get over level 24/25. I thought of having a smaller party but couldn't find a good combination, so I ended up making what I call an extreme party consisting of the folllowing :- Dracon - Fighter Dracon - Fighter Dracon - Fighter Mook - Psionic Elf - Alchemist Elf - Mage I know this isn't the most imaginative party for a RPG but I wanted pure fighters and spell casters. I might even role assend my mage once she tops out on her stats (maybe). I'm not going to add any more to this party so hopefully sticking with 6 throught the game might gain me an extra level at the end.

The harder the difficulty make sno difference on Exp earned.
Difficulty onyl affects - how likely you are to hit (harder the settign harder to hit a mob) and what number of enemies & level you will likely run into. I dont remeber about hp's but it might affect the amount of hp's a mob has also but i dont remember for sure as i havent played anything but the hardest difficulty since my 2nd time through).
