At the part where Oswald crashes his air ship you go into the Druid sanctuary and around the corner you find the crystal golem. How do you defeat the golem, my party used fire arrows, arrows+1, bolts+1, weapons+1 and with piercing even fire spells. He does not even get hurt and he squishes my party.
How do you also open the ice doors and the “Doom Guards”, what is up with them.

What type of weapons are you using? Crystal Golem can be only damaged by crushing weapons such as flails, staffs, clubs, maces, and hammers.
To open the doors you will need to find a certain amulet encased in ice. When this occurs I believe the doom guards turn hostile. [ 12-30-2003, 10:48 AM: Message edited by: pritchke ] |

Well I am using the "Heart of phienix - Slashing" , "Masterwork Longsword - Slashing" , "BattleAxe+1 - Slashing" , LongBow, "Staff of the defender+1 - Bludgeoning" and "Vampiric club - Slashing".

[img]graemlins/thewave.gif[/img] welcome to Ironworks! IIRC, there are some nice arrows found in the region that do away with Crystal golems quickly, and (offtopic, kindof) the Doom Guard who has a name drop an item that is extremely useful against all types of golems in the area

Bludgeon do double damage to those golem. If I remember well I killed them barehanded in my first game beause I didn't have any bludgeon weapons.
