Funny that you say that. I got banned from my high school library in 9th grade through senior year. Wasn't a big deal for me since I didn't go in there much, but apparently, the librarians realized that I aloways brought some sort of drink (like sodas and stuff) with me, so they kicked me out till I would served a week of afterschool detention, which I didn't wanna do .

Ok...

Imagine a dusty old one-room hardware store: there are paint splashes on the wood-plank floor. There are boxes with nuts, bolts, screws, hammers, axe-heads, pipe fittings, and all these things that seem surreal. Its a place where time has seemed to stand still and a throw back to the days before Walmart and Channel Lumber.

Now imagine you're with your friend, milling down through these Hallowed Halls, looking at these items in an almost erie silence.

Your friend turns to you and says "Man, this place is Spooky!" when suddenly a paint can shaker, about the size of a small dog, starts up on the floor behind him. (This machine is so loud & violent that merchandise starts to vibrate around on the shelves)

Your friends eyes literally bug out and he runs screaming out of the store. Now can you blame me for laughing at that little mechanical Schnauser with a can of Dutchboy in its mouth?

Of course the owner, whose face had been varnished far too many times to be able to smile, didn't see the humour in it.

There used to be a place like that near my house, so I can picture it perfectly. It sounds like your laughter was justified.

Hmm...I was banned here once, under the name Lady Blue. It was my first day and I accidently triple posted something (i think I fixed it i don't remember). But I tried to come back a few hours later and it said I was unregistered! riiiight! So I went and complained on the IW guestbook and Dan sent me an email explaining I had not been banned, lol.

Now you know why my name has 03 on the end of it!

Aside from that, I've never been banned. Surprise huh

I was almost banned from my high school after saying quite loudly what i think about a certain teacher of grammar.
Her name was Israela Rozendoren but the entire school called her Ismaela Rozenstein (Zeev Rozenstein is a crime boss in israel, and Ishmael is some kind of a demon).
edited-grammar
When I was much younger and stupider I stole about £200 worth of stuff (books and videos mostly) from my college library over the course of two years. Never got banned though since I didn't get found out.
