Okay, done some research.
There IS a single player mode. Halo is not an abbreviation but it's the name of the star system where the game takes place, Halo itself is oh, see for yourselves When talking about parachute jumps, Victor is right (I think ) |

I know I am right as I have played roleplaying games with HALO as a skill. The old Top Secret S.I. game had it.

Halo... drooollll
The Gamecube sucks in comparison. Then again, if I wanted to play PC-like games, I'd play it on the PC. At least I dont have to buy a new PC every 2 years when it gets outdated.

Personally, I wouldn't bother with an X-box. Consoles will never cut it against PCs because when your PC performance gets slow, you buy some more RAM or a new graphics card. With consoles you have to buy a new console......which means all your games are unusable unless you're upgrading like PS1 to PS2. Also, of course, PC can be used for many things other than gaming......if at any time you wanna get serious about working with computers....you might as well do all your gaming on a PC .....setting up some of the things for games, installing drivers, setting up multiplayer.......etc...all give you valuable experience in general use of computers which the consoles don't give you. Anyway, the games for PCs constantly get better. The ones for any console are fixed in the amount of processing power they can use.

Actually, no developer releases more than one new console every fifth year, if you don't count nintendos GB/A.
And the games doesn't become useless, since you can keep the old console. |

With a console you buy one, and you get a lot of games you can play on it. Compared to a PC it will get outdated, but developers will keep making games a long time.
A PC can be upgraded, but the games that are coming out require better and better systems all the time, so it's not really a choice if you want to keep playing. The upgrades are part of what you need to play. A console's games adapt to the console, a PC adapts to the PC's games. |
