I have had this occur in a few areas: the Inn (in section I described) and in Skullport. Am I doing something wrong with the hireling, or is it an inadequacy built into the system itself?
Thats a bug in the actual Engine I think. what you gotta do is tell them to wait before entering. I dunno, If anyone knows of a fix for this, it would be awesome, because it sucks on level 4, as you must use a teleporter.

I've seen this on lvl 9 as well, using the teleporters.
Edit: I haven't noticed, but do the henchmen/women give a token to the pc when they are picked up? If so, you should be able to script a follow onto that. Note: If that's how it already works, then, uh, I don't know.
Edit again: Maybe you could script a if the char and hench get too far apart, teleport to token?

I have seen something similar to this henchman problem.

When traveling between the sewers and Skullport there are two U-shaped rooms you must teleport through first. My druid's animal companion and a teammate's pixie familiar got stuck in one of these rooms while the rest of our team made it to Skullport. We got our followers back when we went down to the fourth level.

So this problem seems to affect more than just henchmen...

I thought I should mention one that seems to have started only in the last two weeks or so.

Twice recently I have gone solo through the Drow Proving Grounds and each time one of the Drow has been missing - a different one each time (yes, I did look everywhere in the grounds but without any luck).

Not a real difficulty as I can always log out and come back another time for the stone I missed. I only raise this because I've not had any problems before and finding one twice in succession suggests a bug may have crept in.

Oh, and both my characters were lawful neutral.

No problems recently with missing drow in the proving grounds.

One of my characters, Bo'orchu, seems to have aquired a permanent decrease in movement speed. No difficulty as I wanted this one deleted anyway but I'm not sure if there may be bug there.

Are you well? Looking forward to the new Hakpak.

Logged in today and found myself in The Haunted Isle with no-one else on the server.

What seems to have happened is that the server hasn't reset after everyone has logged off.

Not a great problem but I thought I should mention when there may be a reset problem.
