I ended up with the GeForce 6800 GT, LB. I was going to get the older version but this one was the last one in the store and less expensive than I thought it would be. Z says it's a great card and my husband was drooling so I guess it's a good one! LOL

I had to get the new one because my old GeForce4 TI4600 had a short in it. grrr..it wasn't that old, either!

I was hoping to save up for a new monitor before the videocard needed replacing but I guess the videocard had other ideas!

Labor-Day fireworks in Cincinati were pretty...Plus, I introduced Nirav (the Indian American friend) to several of the "backward" aspects of "redneck" culture...and he had fun, being shot with .68 cal paintballs, regardless the fact that he seldom was able to return fire

There's a possibility I can play. I dunno how many hours ahead scotland is of the west coast...around 8 I gather? In any case I'll be gone in my morning and probably most of my afternoon (paintballing as well as avoiding my dad who will be here in the morning)

Wow, that sounds like fun LB, I have only been Paintballing twice and both times it was great, But every weekend??? That would be painfull.
