I decided to go through BG2 for the second time since I made many mistakes the first time(not completeing any optional quest for instance). But anyways I can't happend but to notice how your treated as nothing but filth from everybody that is a little bit noble. It really pisses me off when I talk to a noble person and they say, "look a commoner is trying to talk to us! beat it you smelly commoner!" So I save, and whack the bitch and her poor noble guy, along with the guards that are there. But that isn't what made me write this, I'm currnetly doing Nalia's quest, and her fathers sister or whatever(Lady Delcia) just rips on you right there after you rescue her, and I just want to shove my sword down her throat and send a fireball up her ass. They need to make the nobles respect you otherwise you should be able to kill them w/o having to worry about reputation points. I would go around talk to every noble and sooner or later that would get on there hands and knees and beg me for forgiveness, I'm saving there asses and they treat my party and I like crap.

Ah, but isn't it true to life . . . the peons doing the work that the boss gets the credit for.
If you really want, cast charm person, domination, or other such control spell and have the noble force an attack on one of your party members. I don't think you will lose any reputation points by having one of your own attack one of your own. Or . . . charm two nobles and have them fight each other -- that's always fun, not very Lawfully Good of me, but fun none the less. |

Whenever I play evil, to "control" my reputation I always use the nobles for adjustments so my 3 evil npcs will remain happy.
A side note: Why not cast a couple of pit fiends in different locations of the Government District? |

Yes, the nobles really make you want to whack them a time or three. Try building a house for one (in real life).

What I think would be funny as hell would be to cast Protection from Evil on my whole party and then Gate in a Pit Fiend or two and watch the entire town/city get swallowed whole by them while I just sit back and laugh.
I havent tested this yet, but I have a feeling that if I tried it in Athkatla(?) those nosey Cowled bastards would teleport in and spoil all my fun. Eddith |

Nobles are an excellent means of keeping your reputation down. For the more light-hearted neutrals or evils, you don't even need to feel guilty afterwards.
