I'm sorry but I must disagree with all you young pups (and kittens in Z's case). If we are going to talk bass then let's put up Les Claypool for the younger set and Stanley Clarke THE ultimate bass player since the 70's. Before anybody screams, I'll give respect to the name of Bootsie Collins as well. Honarable mention goes to Chris Squire of Yes.

{sigh}My favorite guitar player never seems to get any respect...I never hear him mentioned with the "greats", but I like his riffs better than anybody else I've ever heard...

His name is Angus Young.

Cerek, I think Angus is one the the greats. No one in the last 30 years have or can match his style and energy. He is definilty awsome.

I dont listen to them as much as I use to, but I do still get an urge every once in a while.

Hey Ziroc, I have an idea. Maybe you could start a 'IW Raido Request Thread' and make it a sticky (or not) and so people can post what they would like to hear when you have it on. Just an idea.

Good grief, you are all so young! (Those of you that posted up their ages).

Does this mean I'm officially an IW old codger? ???

Don't worry Epona, there's always me. I'm an even older fart than you.
