Heh I agree . I always finished my homework in class. I'm always a bit sceptical actually about people who claim to have hours and hours of homework a night - usually the same people who race around like a chicken with its head cut off when you have a half hour exam crying about how stressed they are . Certainly some people get 'lots' of homework, but I always found a bit of organisation and time management made all the difference

Relax Gil, have fun, and enjoy all the free time you have.

Hoooo-boy! Do I know where you're coming from Aelia! I'm finally getting the "Get it done at school" mentality drilled into my ten year old. He goofs off at school and then has hell catching up at home. He's getting better. The new school he's at teaches some decent organizational skills. They also don't seem to give too much homework. He was sick for two days. I personally picked up all his schoolwork for both days. He was able to complete all written and reading assignments in four supervised hours. The catch was that he had to be constantly pushed and supervised. You should have seen the pouting! It proves that the work can be completed quickly if you put your mind to it. Of course, kids have underdeveloped senses of discipline and concentration by nature. So you can't be too harsh.
