I hate them bloody mummys!!! How do i kill them without getting diseased every 2 seconds and have a weapon that actually works against them???

High Con & Dex will help against getting disased. I believe you need a +1 or more weapon to inflict damage against them. You may just need a magical weapon.

hit them fast and hard (works on just about everything) Paladins are immune and have the cure disease spell as a natural ability, you can also drink Mummy's tea to cure it, hang onto what you do find (it's in a bottle similar to antidote)

Consider using summons to tank for you as well. Sometimes even a Kobold can save you a lot of pain.
