I'm going to spend the weekend doing all the things I don't normally get to do when my husband is around. He's going camping with his family this weekend.

On Saturday, I'll be going to the opening game of the Stanley Cup finals.

Unfortunately, I'll be doing the stuff that every homeowner inevitably gets to sooner or later. Digging, planting, mowing, watering, sawing, and basically busting my butt. Hopefully I'll be able to BBQ and get loaded on Sunday evening. Might wander over to the neighbor's and drink their beer...

Now where did I leave that doughnut?!

Hey, hey. If you offer them up some beers, they may be willing to come over and help ya. Then when the work is done, you can get down to some serious partying. As for me, I haven't decided what I will do yet. I know there's some BBQ'ing in there and I know there's some drinking, but haven't decided on a place yet. In case I don't get a chance to wish everyone a great Memorial Day weekend on the weekend (and really, who would be here to see it? LOL), just want to let everyone know that I hope they have a weekend to tell everyone about in the years to come.

Moving. The closing is Friday. Saturday is the big move. Sunday is the big unpack. Monday is the collapse from exhaustion day. Oh -- and I have to write semester exams (Yes, Adam, teachers too have all of those last minute things to finish over Memorial Day weekend -- good luck on the papers).

BTW onthepequod: Walking works. My wife and I walked about 2 miles the day our daughter was born. For my son, my wife did sit-ups until her water broke (BTW sit-ups are a definite "no-no" at least according to all of those well-educated medical professionals )

Yard work, house work, etc.
Maybe I'll light up my new BBQ, now that you guys have got me thinking about it.
