Should Ziroc put op Banner-ads?

AS you know he needs money and a effective way to get it is by getting banner-ads
his problem with it is that He thinks it'll ruin the Ironworks feel.
Personally I think a banner won't have that effect as it's the people in here who make the ironworks feel
We even survived the switch from the beautiful Blue forum to this ehm not to say ugly but at least less better good loking weird brown greenlike forum
SO what do you think?
Should Ziroc put up banner ads or not?

It going the right way 100% thinks we should put up banners and it won't change the feel

I think banners are the only realistic way of generating enough money for this forum - provided we all remember to click on them every once in a while, which I for one am certainly prepared to do.

I agree with what I think is the majority in the discussion thread... a banner add at the top or bottom of the page would be fine, aslong as it isnt pop-ups. [img]smile.gif[/img]

Who cares if a banner pops up or appears, it won't spoil anything. And if Ziroc needs the money it wouldn't matter if it did anyway, I say yes to banners.

I'm all for banners... in fact, we can all look for the best paying banner out there and plaster it in a few strategic positions

If banners do get put up, I'll click on 'em loads every time I check in on IW, as long as we get the money for Z!!!

Although I would hate for Ziroc to have to submit to placing banner ads, if it will help him (and us) out then so be it. I, personally, wouldn't mind sending in $1 per month to support IronWorks--it's definitely worth it! Should 499 other people agree with me, then...well, do the math! [img]graemlins/petard.gif[/img]

edit: now that I think about it, if that happens would he have to declare himself/IronWorks as a small business? would that money count as "income"? who would do the accounting? (I'm not half bad at accounting, mind you....) ugh! Too many questions....
