In combat, A Character with normal Strenght (13) and equip with a "Battle Axe+2 id" he must doing a damage between 3 to 10 (1d8+2) but after hundrers of test, all damage make for this character was between 1 to 8. WHY?
The same happen with one character with hign Strenght (18/00) an equip with a normal weapons... Battle Axe no magical. the range of her damage must be between (7-14)1d8+6 for strenght... but he makes ever 1 to 8, Thanks |

I have just done some tests and discovered that Strength adjustments have no affect to hit or damage. Also, Magical weapons do provide a benefit to hit, but not to damage. I tested using a battle axe +2 (+2 hit, +2 damage) and strength 16 (+1 damage). I got damage results between 1 and 8 so it would appear that damage bonus' arent working, also on the character view screen, damage was only listed as 1-8, not 1-8+3 as it should. I got attack rolls as high as 22 which would suggest that the magical weapon attack adjustment is working. A couple of bugs I found right away.
1. Strength bonus to damage was only used for non-weapon attacks (empty handed) 2. Item import from UA to DC set the attack bonus but not the damage bonus, so a +2 axe has +2 attack bonus but damage bonus is still 0. In DC, the attack and damage bonus for each item is separately configurable. But all of the items in DC came from import of UA items, so all damage bonuses are 0. I'll fix the import and update the default items.txt file. The attack bonus calculation makes the proper call to get strength bonuses, so I need to run a test to find out why it isn't working.
