You notice I set up the barricade to keep the mage staff from hitting me. I couldn't help it, it just jumped off my keyboard so fast that I wasn't even sure I posted it.

Is this where we start talking about alien side boobs again?

But that's the fun part about it, watching SW get all worked up...over nothing he can control...steer...or change... If it weren't for gullible Gomer, there'd be no fun...

For me, the fun part is guessing what new and funky issues you will project unto threads that have no relevance to anything whatsoever that you say, lol. For me, that is the gift that keeps on giving.

I don't disagree with you because I dislike you, I just don't agree with your particular POV on most subjects. I have a r/l friend that I disagree with as much, if not more, on politics and religion, yet we manage to remain good friends despite our personal differences. Sometimes we snipe at each other, but we both get over it.

Your original post had an overly pious tone, implying that anyone who did not agree with universal healthcare also had no concept of mercy, compassion, charity or community. I apologize if I misinterpreted that, but if you go back and read it objectively, you do seem to be saying that people who have more but don't want to share with those who have less are just really bad people. My comment about you putting yourself on a pedestal was a reaction to that.

And, even though I described universal healthcare as a socialistic concept (because it is), I also explained very clearly that socialism itself is not necessarily bad or good.

You do make implications, assumptions, and personal commentary. Can you not control yourself? You have no right to make personal implications about me. I have asked before that you stop. You like to justify your behavior, implying I deserve to recieve personal comments based on your opinion of the tone of my posts and that you are some how qualified to give them. But your not the internet police nor my daddy so it's time for it to stop.

I'll explain my post a little, maybe it will help you.

I was showing that complex and deep-felt motives may lie behind the desire for Universal Affordable Healthcare rather than some shallow belief in entitlement or any political affiliation.

Also, I give the benefit of the doubt to people. I believe that every person may want to be charitable. The idealistic belief in human potential. No matter how far we fall away from our highest ideals, the potential to achieve them remains.

And yes, I think people who lack qualities and values like Mercy, Compassion ,Charity, and Community "suck", only becasue I think I would suck without those values and qualities myself.

I would feel shitty if I could give healthcare to a person in need but chose not to.

Farewell

Everyone here makes implications, assumptions and personal commentary in their posts. That's standard behavior on most forums. You and I have discussed and debated several issues for more than 5 years now so, yeah, I think I have a pretty good idea of your beliefs and perspective on things. However, our posts don't always sound the way we mean them to and maybe I read an attitude in your post that wasn't there. If so, I truly apologize.

Overall, I do think I can judge people fairly accurately on their words and actions, just like everyone else here, and I will continue to do so, just like everyone else here.

Thanks for the explanation, I appreciate it. I still don't agree completely with your view, but at least I have a better understanding of where you're coming from.

Because Ann commenting on insurance allowing aborted fetuses covered by the healthcare bill to get boob jobs, also mandated to be covered by health insurance laws adds to the value or factual nature of the debate? or a swipe at liberals? easily editted out, does not change the facts she references (and she does use a bibliography), the figures, or varying reporting methods of the international community. Feel free to read the originals, nothing factual was removed, only swipes, jabs, and backhanded remarks.

Removing bias simply reverts it from an op-ed piece back to journalism.
