KDogRex here, saying HI THERE! From Minneapolis, MN! I was stationed in Aberdeen, right on the Bay, a loooooong time ago. I thought it was a beautiful area (well except for all the other military people around, but you take what you get, I guess!)

Hey KDog - Aberdeen feels like serious boonies compared to where I am now...

I know what you mean about military types... I was a Navy wife for 9 long years.... I was the old lady at 22... everyone else was younger!! Gads.
Drove fuel trucks on the flight deck in Sicily - NAS Sigonella... that was a blast...

I take it you were/are Army?

Yeppers, I was Army. Loved the travelling, though I never was quite a military person to the core. I think I was too young at the time, mentally, you know. Too interested in partying all the time and all that. Which, of course, explains why I was sent to Saudi for Desert Storm!! I was less than three months out at the time, picked up my clearing papers on a Friday, got flagged for Saudi, the next morning! LOL, oh well, like they say, "Life is what happens when you're making other plans!"

I was in Sig at that time, no doubt I fueled your aircraft. I was there during Desert Storm and fueling every bird going back and forth to the desert. Met a lot of neat folks...

I know what you mean about being young in the military; when you're older, you would never dream of going in!!

Bahamut - you know, you just enjoy life a bit much, makes me jealous!

We must be about the same age, then. Late 20's early 30's?
