This may be the stupidest question ever posted, but, How does one give away an item? I haven't been able to finish any of the early quests which require the giving of something. This includes the potion to the toad, the rat pie to the crypt keeper, the amulet to the lady by the windmill, and the lockpicks to the prisoner in the Serpent Temple! The more detailed the responce, the more it will be appreciated!

-Click on Use/Give button (above Map button)
-Click on "Give" in the scroll below so it's highlighted -Cycle through the items until the one you want is selected -Click on the NPC |

One other thing: You may need to press the CTRL key on the keyboard while you click on them to give something to them. I'm not sure if that's necessary each time.

So tell us, Old Man, did it work for you?
It is not stupid to ask! I had the hardest time figuring out how to trade with the ones who would trade. First I had to remember who had enough gold to buy the items they offered, then who would have thought to scroll through their items to find what to buy and then all you have to do is click right on them and "walla", you just bought something from them - that is trading??? Yes, I have managed it. I guess I was stuck in the mind set of "choose the item, then say what to do with it".
