~~ you met the Spectator Beholder again in Senia's stronghold?

Hee hee, too bad not all Beholders are as friendly as him.

On another note, how many of you were frustrated that you had no option to fight and kill Saemon? I ask this because it was the last straw when he dragged my party into fighting some Mercenaries... ...

I was very upset that my sword never got a chance to lodge in his gut. It would have been one great last nugget of joy in the BG series to have a stab at ole Saemon.

However, I do sort of understand the point of not being able to kill him - no matter how great or powerful you become there will always be someone or something that manages to get the best of you.

Secretly, though, I pretend that after the whole Bhaal-child fiasco's over, my PC (God or mortal,) tracks Saemon down and settles scores.

The first time I played BG2 I killed that beholder. Didnt feel like doing that much talking. Second time I convinced him to let me open the chest. I hope in the next Black Isle Forgotten Realms game you can kill that bastard. I have an axe with his name on it.

Laughed my arse off...

The cool thing is that first time you met him you were slightly scared, knowing that his kind would eat you for breakfast, but fortunately, he couldn't really be bothered about that.
And now, he basically went "allright mate, how's it hangin'...seen some hot chicks lately?..."
Funniest scene in ToB!

I killed that Saemon in BG 2, only had a minute to do it so I had to act quick, but I did and so in my mind he's dead!!!!!!!!( It must of been his clone in ToB)

after i finish ToB and i become a God, i like to imagine i send Saemon to the Abyss, or some little subplane of nothingness, along with that damn spectator beholder and those imps from the sahuagin city. hee, eternal torment for them all!

With each kill, I grow wiser, and with added wisdom, I grow stronger. Does anybody have any idea what this means?

And ofcourse, the Beholder was the most funniest moment in the game

Woah, easy man, the thread had a spoiler tag already. Consider it advanced warning, I guess he assumed those reading this thread completed the game already.
