I've never done this one before but I am now, and I was wondering if the romance is as in depth in ToB as the other two are?

Speaking as a Jaheira fan, her TOB romance is almost certainly the weakest of the lot. It simply doesn't go anywhere or do anything, it seems to pass from closeness and passion into "comfortable detente and mild misgivings on the future" very abruptly and with nothing inbetween.
However, I think we did a nice job filling in the gaps with the flirt pack, so I'd suggest having a look.
