This sword is 30" long. The blade is leaf-shaped and about 23" long. The Hilt is about 7" long but about 2" of that is a cresent moon on the pommel. What kind of sword would you call this?

Like a shortsword, broadsword, long sword, two-handed sword that sort of thing. I guess kind of a game classification for this specific sword.

Yes, but not as exaggerated... Is this large enough to be a broadsword or would it be a shortsword?

It would be a short sword. Short swords have blades of about two feet according to my DM.
