Yeah, Johnny, you are right, self-employment taxes are for the birds. But, they can't gripe at you for getting to work late. ( Galadria takes care of that.)

Attalus, do you and Galadria work together or do you have independent offices? My ex-sister-in-law's father (try to figure out that familial relation ) is in the same business; I could always ask him for advice, if need be.

What do I do if my new boss is an a-hole? Most likely Belle would correct his behavior.

I am re-reading the Illuminatus Trilogy by Wilson & Shea. What a trip! If you're not ready for it (and you can never be ready for these books) these will make your brain hurt! Ewige Blumenkraft! Fnord!

Galadria are in the same office and are incorporated. She does all the money stuff, as I have no knack for that, and God, she does. Gets it from her father. I am the Senior Partner, but guess how far that gets me? She got two e-mails from people in the race that congratulated her, and she seems a little happier than she was. She ran in a t-shirt that celebrated her forum, but, I am sorry to say, not IW, but "The FIRM Believers Forum," which she pays $24.95 for three months, for the privilege of chatting with the aerobics instructors. Pretty girls, though. After three months, it's $9.00/month.

You mean "senior partner" on paper.
My new firm treats couples as a team, even if only one partner is involved; thus, Belle gets equal recognition for any accomplishments I personally achieve. I think that is and is as it should be.
It is still a shame that we don't have any IronWorks merchandise available (shirts, caps, coffee mugs, etc). Maybe if we make a few more sacrifices to it will happen.

Madness, Piestrider? Does paying for a forum drive you insane?

ROFLMAO!!! Azred, you are driving Piestrider insane. Yeah, we treat all income the same: put it in the bank and use it to pay bills. They have all kinds of merchandise at that The Firm Believers' Forum. Hats, mugs, T-shirts, and of course, lotsa instructional tapes.
