That is what happens when Santa flies too close to power lines!! Isnt it obvious?? A normal deer could never jump up on top of the power pole without hitting all of the powerlines below it. It had to be that jolly juggernaut santa. The cruel man in red must have crashed into the pole on his flight home after one to many egg nogs. Whichever magic reindeer you are , we will miss you

If someone put it up there, they would have to find a deer carcass that died of natural causes. It certainly wouldn't sit still for a lift onto the pole, and you wouldn't be able to shoot it without leaving obvious marks.

Maybe somebody used poison or something, but it would seem like an awful lot of trouble to go through for a prank.

hahaha, maybe it did... I live in NE Ohio and we have problems with over population of deer and I have never heard of a deer being able to climb a telephone pole. All though deers can seriously mess up a car, or even a 18-wheeler if you hit one :\
