Fascinating. Thanks for the info. When I first went, I knew litttle about it, but now I've read several books and it really was a vicious and horrid was. Atrocities on both sides, though the Loyalists got better press, what with Hemingway and Malreaux and all. I'm glad that I wasn't living there, then.
