Well, not yet.

But I am pissed off, tried installing Oblivion about 5 times now, and its at the point where:
*Deleting the game files gives me an error
*Starting a new set up gives me an error
*Un-installing gives me an error
*some setups stuff up half way through with CRC errors
*Files are missing

And so on,

SO I gather I have a bad DVD, and guess I will have to wait a few days(maybe weeks) to get another CE DVD

Could be your player. Try mess around with the read-out settings a bit and see if it changes anything.

Have you tried copying the files from DVD to hardrive?

You can buy and download it online and return your broken copy if that appeals to you. Of course, you would lose your CE stuff...

Edit : Also, try installing on another system to rule out whochever problem you have.

Manually got the files missing and put them in there, according to Microsoft, alot of teh issues were hardware related (I think my video card drivers were playing up)
