What weapon is Daystar? Is it a plus 3 or a plus 2? There doesn't seem to be any mention about it in the description text.

Will the Ring of Gaxx change your alignment to evil? In its description, it is said that there is great evil in it, is there any chance that it could pollute you?

Is it just Edwin or do all specialist mages have bonus spells?

Also, my main character used to have a romance with Aerie, however, I threw her off my party, does that mean the romance has ended or is it still there? Cause I can't seem to have a romance with Viconia.

IIRC the daystar is a sword. If you want to know where to find it just ask. Don't want to post if you don't want to know yet, wouldn't want to spoil the game for anyone.

I already have both the Daystar and the Ring of Gaxx.
The Daystar's description doesn't seem too complete, they did not mention whether the Daystar is +3 or 2 something.
The Ring of Gaxx : I'm just curious whether it has side effects.

The Daystar was one of the swords that I acquired early on in the game, and used all the way to the end. That +4 vs evil dudes is pretty much 90% of the time on thru the whole game(I think). So it's practically a +4 sword, and that sunray really nukes the undead to kingdom come.

Sorry out of my league on those

Never used the ring,
Didn't recruit Edwin,
My main character was female (for a different view) so romances with Aerie et al was off - shame

Question 3:
Yes, all specialist mages receive additional spells, however, Edwin gets more than the normal specialist even does. IIRC, it has something to do with a necklace/amulet that he wears? This apparently grants him bunches of additional spells.

Question 4:
Yup, you're done in the romance dept. stud...if you booted out your lover. You are one cold dude!
