Hey All, Just a quick question, I have a dwarf Fighter Lev 14. Maxed out with Axe proficiency. He is an awesome little Tank, however he almost always gets held by magic. Here is my question...What is the best defense against Hold spells? and/or What is the best magic Item to defend against this? I have been using Chaotic commands spell but would love to free up the spell slots for others. Any help would be appreciated Thx

The ring of free action would be ideal for this. Also, although I'm not sure about this, I was under the impression that the Sheild of Harmony +2 would keep you from being held, because, isn't Hold Person a spell that effects you mentally? I can't remember off the top of my head.

I believe there is a shield of harmony somewhere, but can't remember where. It's everywhere on the net though, you need just to look it up, or someone else will tell you the exact location. The dwarf is using a shield right?

Ahh post at the same time.

You have to defeat a series of monsters in the assylum dungeon (a.k.a. Bodhi's Gauntlet) by clicking on a book in the south map of the dungeon.

The Shield of Harmony...is available in Trademeet but I don't remember where...or how...you get it. Hmm....

Keep in mind: the Ring of Free Action blocks ALL movement-related spells. That includes Haste!

The most annoying feature for me has always been the fact that the ring also cancels out the boots of speed.
