In all of the battles in Baldur's Gate II and ToB, there's always that suspenseful music playing when you go into battle, but is there any way you can replace that and put in some good fight music? I always thought it would be better fighting Irenicus in hell listening to some Rob Zombie or Drowning Pool

If you do a full install so you don't need the CD drive to play the game, you can turn off the background music on the options menu and play music off a CD or MP3s. (I don't recommend playing the game off the CDs and playing MP3s at the same time. When I've tried it, my computer crashes.)

Get a CD to MP3 ripper, or get *gasp* Kazaa. I always play with music in the background with BG2 muted. Why? If I hear Anomen or Jon Irenicus one more time, I'm going to go Sahuagin on their butts.

True, true, but I haven't touched Kazaa ever since the Music Industry did that scan on all internet users with it. Bloody wankers
I'll just use Media Player I guess, but won't BG2 block it out when I maximize it? |

Doesn't he mean that only the battle music is replaced, like, when engaging foes, some mp3 starts rolling? I don't think thats possible without getting the complete BG2 code to re-model.

I think it's possible, at least in modded areas. IIRC, the Imoen Romance mod does it.

The BG and ToB music is great but after a while you just need something different don't you. If I'm I always have my Windows Media player going(which slows down my load times) or a CD player with headphones nearby. I've even made a few "gaming music" CD's including - Superman, Lord of the Rings, Braveheart, Last of the Mohicans, Indiana Jones, The Two Towers, Star Wars and others. When certain songs come on and I'm right in the middle of a good battle I feel like there's a bard in my basement corner and he's turned my "Dell by Microsoft" mouse into a "+2 Dell by Microsoft" mouse. I mean I get pumped. I could sell these CDs to you guys and you'd be like whoa, Sponge, that was some serious audio. And you're damn right Gangrell, I play some Drowning Pool along with Korn and others sometimes too.

That sounds sweet, SpongeBob! Would you mind PMing me some of the playlists? I don't really know that many TV tunes.

I know a quick remedy for that Moose, watch VH1's Music Theater in the morning, great tunes to start out the day
