Is it possible to extract animations of the PC, and if so, how? There are so many animations I don't have the first clue about where to look. And could someone tell me how animations are looped, or point me in the direction of that information?

Not of the PC, no. The PC's avatar info is sourced differently.
There are a lot of animations, the only way to find something is to look. We all had to do it, there's no easy way unfortunately. Once you find a gif you like, export it and then use a GIF animation program (there's a free trial one at www.ulead.com). That is where you loop the images. ------------------ |

Animations of the PC? Well it depends on what the PC is of course.... I don't quite understand your question...if your PC is a female fighter then the generic female fighter animation is the same as the PC one :squint:
Anyway, all the animations are stored in BAM files. Look under the BAM files in IE and look at CHAAnim.bif. The BAMs are coded so one called CDMC###.bam will contain animations for Character-Dwarf-Male-Cleric. They all use this format. Weapon BAMs begin with W and monster ones with M surprisingly enough. Load them up in BAMworkshop and then choose export on the sequence u want. Save it as a GIF and voila! This is how I got my sig GIF... ------------------ Hey look, a trail of doghnuts, mmmmmmmmmmmmm.... |

Actually the armour is part of the animations already, there are seperate animations for armoured and non-armoured characters. Although u are right about the colours and the weapon....

The CHAAnim file is not really worth extracting as all the BAM files in there are of characters who look like they've been to a fancy dress party
(really weird colours!) |
