WHAT THE HELL....!!!!!

im fighting malavon in lower dorns and hes guaurded by 2 giant iron golems .anyone know how to defeat the iron golems .im not even worying about malavon.i have 5 of the 6 badges so far.any suggestions out there???

My favorite tactic for situations where I get swarmed by enemies is to use cannon fodder. I like to summon creatures and set them in the path of larger enemies (like the iron golems). That way, I can cast a few spells and pummel them with arrows while they waste their time with my minions. In the case of the Iron Golems, I think they can only be attacked with magic weapons, and if you need more fire power and friends, send your cloaked thief in past them to the small room to the SE of the main room. There, you'll find lots of helpful goodies, and the monsters won't attack you if you're careful. Hope this helps.

I read in one of these forums somewhere that acid-based attacks work well, and that the iron golems were designed for you to think your way to victory, instead of normal hack and slash...sorry I cannot quote the exact phrasing of the answer I read...

Cast the Invulnerability wizard spell (I can not remember the exact name of the spell, this is the one protecting for all damages, but the caracter can not perform any attacks). Cast this spell on one of your guys, and move him forward to the room where Mavalon is. All ennemies in the room will only concentrate on him. You then just need to cast all your fireballs to get rid of the Hulks, all your acid spells to damage the iron golems. Once the invulnerability is off, just finish the golems with your fighters.
