Does anyone know if Black Isle has changed their mind and is going to make an expansion for IWD2? Seeing how popular the game is I cant see why they would not want to.

Sorry to be the bringer of bad news, but according to the developers there will be no expansion, ever. Sad but true. Maybe a sequel (IWD 3) in some years but it will be using an entirely other engine.
I tried to find the thread in the official forum where this was stated, but they too appear to have problem with their search function.

I know they said that, but I can still hope...
I know lots of times when such things where stated, and the devs changed their mind.

Don't worry I'm pretty sure someone at Teambg will make an expansion...I might even have a go myself if I ever finish my BG2:Tob conversion.
