But change the ( ) for < >

I used to have a bretonian army but I just stopped doing it. I realised that it was way too expensive for what you get.

A tyranid army and a heavily converted possessed Mordenheim warband.

Both done in a black/green colour scheme.

He's right you know, I wasted hundreds of pounds for nothing (especially in Warhammer fantasy where you can use paper to represent ALL of your units as opposed to a unit of models costing £50!).

I used to play it, now I fear I have over a hundred various paper weights of differant shapes and sizes

I have an Eldar army and an Ultramarine army. I am currently trying to get enough minis painted in my Ultramarine army to field it at Games Day Chicago.

I also have Undead for Warmaster Epic Fantasy and Sisters of Battle. I sold other armies or I'd offer them up here.

If you don't want expensive, look for a store that sells used minis. There was a fantastic one in Syracuse, NY. I haven't found any near me now, though.

Be smart about what you want to field. Design your army and then buy the figs you need.

Aww, who am I kidding -- I have hundreds of figs.

In many stores you can also cut a deal. GW frowns upon straight % discounts on its merchandise by retailers. However, they do approve of the "Buy $250 worth of stuff, get $25 free" punch-card one shop I know of uses (it applies to all merchandise in the shop). But, the best deals I've gotten have been in stores where I'm like "Look I'm buying a whole army today. What deal will you cut me?"
