laptop keyboard problems

Anyone know how to swoop the keys around?

My @ sign is at "
and vice versa.

A lot of other signs are missing or misplaced like the pound sign.

Not sure, but I think you're looking for a keymapper, should be free ones around...

Are you sure you've got the correct country settings for your current keyboard, before you start crowbarring your keys off of it?
(or in other words, it doesn't have to be a hardware problem; it could be a software problem...)

Definitely is a softare problem adn a common one too.
Where would I change country settings?

Erm... Have you checked Configuration/Keyboard, perhaps? And I'm not sure which operating system you use, but my Windows XP has the keyboard country settings floating around close to the sys tray.

[/QUOTE]Okay, just checked on my laptop with Windows '98; it's actually a rather standard solution - go to the control panel, then choose keyboard, then language settings. And then fool around a bit to find the right settings. Piece of cake.
