I'm having way too much fun!

I just got a new computer and got out all the games I had but would not play on the old machine and I'm going nuts! Whoot!

Besides NWN, Tribes II, WWIIOnline, and DAoC SI, I'm having too much fun!

Anyway, back to the NWN, what is some servers that people tend to play on from here? I am having fun playing rogue, ranger, fighter, and druid (and multi classing). Of course I'm being that perpetual newbie since I want to try every thing, but it is a great game.

About the only thing that drives me crazy is the lack of some information, like what is those special moves that you get from having high parry, what and how does duel-weld work, how come I can hot key set-up switching from my bow to a sword and shield--but not to sword and sword.

Anyway, have a great weekened!

even with mega high parry, you will still get hit a lot of the time; you basically stand there and hope you get a riposte in. I think its main use is to last longer so that a healer can heal you; while someone else does the necessary damage to kill it (or in other words NEVER use this since its 95% of the time a better idea to kill something fast rather than let it kill you slow)

Two weapon fighting in combination with ambidexterity and improved two weapon fighting will allow you to wield two weapons or a double-bladed weapon with less of an Attack penalty than you would get without them. (-2 primary -2 secondary is the penalty with those 3 feats - so you WILL have higher attack value with a single weapon always, but less attacks per round.
on your character youll see a +20/+15/+10 type thing for attack bonus; this is how good a chance you have to hit someone (the higher the number the better - this is different from the older rule set where it was the lower the better, but i digress)

You should be able to "quick slot" dual weapon combos. Set it up just like you would with a sword and shield combo. Drag the primary weapon hand to the quick slot, then drag the off-hand weapon over the primary weapon. VOILA! You're good to go!

Thanks all!
The helpful hints have worked great.

Now if they would only help maximize the code for dial-ups it would be even better

As for getting hit in Parry mode, then my fighter gets hit rather rarely. It depends what are your stats, or DEX actually. Also depends from dexterity bonus and skills you learnt. If you think that in some heavy platemail you'll do good when parrying, then nope - you killed your DEX bonus with the heavy plate and reduced your Parry skill. Not to mention Mobility, if you trained it. My fighter used medium to light armor and has quite high DEX and DEX bonus score, and parries quite well.
