It's a great crime how poorly such a huge volume of data was protected. Allegedly a mere Private accessed and supplied the stuff to wikileaks.

The irony here is fabulous, unintentional or not, the acronymn for the CIA's look into the matter is WTF.... srsly, wtf man?

No, not at all.
However, treason is just that!

I just received my 30 year letter, have had a secret "with NTK" clearance since 1985, and have a slightly biased opinion of my government. I have not seen the wikileaks "cables", nor will I pursue them with a traceable vehicle until; 1. they become declassified. 2. I achieve second retirement status and have time to spend at the local library. However, I have knowledge of "events" that have been mentioned, and my recollection and what I have heard through "casual" conversation are too close to be fictitious. I personally would not dismiss much at all if it had anything remotely resembling the federal government.

Oh, the irony:

Incriminating police files were published in the British newspaper that has used him as its source for hundreds of leaked US embassy cables.
