Does anyone know how to rescue the slaves in Ust Natha short of killing all teh drow?

You can purchase them once your party has the favour of the Matriach of House Despana.
i.e. Do the quests and you are able to purchase them when you can speak to the Matriach in the temple.

Buying them equipment will boost your rep and may (don't really remember) give you a bit more XP too.
Of course, by the time you're down here, you shouldn't really need any more rep... |
