Way back when IWD II was released, Bioware released a ton of official bonus portraits and soundsets on the IWD II site. I just went to download them and the site is no longer up. Anyone know if they are still up for download anywhere?
I remember then being really good, some of them better than the ones that come with the game, and now that I've just got a brand spanking new copy of the game I wouldnt mind getting hold of them again. |

What's the url?
If you mean the interplay site, then I believe it is down permanently...

You can try using the internet way-back machine to see if you can find them.
I was able to find some portraits on a black isle site for IWD2, but no soundsets. You might have better luck if you remember what site they were on.

This is the website from Feb 2002
http://web.archive.org/web/200202050...blackisle.com/ And this is from April 2004 http://web.archive.org/web/200404082...com/index.html I couldn't find the link to the portraits and soundsets that you mentioned. But try yourself maybe you'll get it. You can visit http://www.archive.org/index.php to try earlier versions of websites that are down now. Or http://www.searchengineshowdown.com/.../archive.shtml to find other websites that offer such services.

Oh well its been around 5 years since the game was released and there seems to be no evidence on the net that what I'm searching for ever existed. Although I'm still fairly certain I'm right, I may have just dreamt the whole thing. I'll keep my eye open for them and if I find them I'll let you know, thanks for the responses. |
