Any UK forum members wishing to purchase this game should visit http://shop.gameplay.co.uk/webstore/...e_-_bloodlines
It's only £12.99 - which is a cracking price!!! |

OK, I've got it - looks good, but the interface is definitely clunky...I lost an unnecessary humanity point because I paid a pro so I could lure her into an alley, then fed on her, then released her, unfortunately she was blocking the exit and I couldn't push her out of the way! So I had to kill her otherwise I would've been stuck in the alley. That was a bit of a bummer. How do I regain humanity points?

You can spend experience points to increase your humanity, but it's a waste unless you constantly do things that lowers it. Some quests can also give you a humanity bonus if you solve them in a "good" way.
If you're stuck somewhere in an alley or somesuch, and don't have a fresh savegame, you could always check around for sewer manholes and escape through them. Sewers also provide free blood in the shape of rats, unless you play a Ventrue, and the rats don't charge you anything for sucking them dry. How nice of them, don't you think?

Don't use any experience points on humanity - The only thing it does is make you go frenzy less often. Plus, every time I frenzied(which happened very rarely, mind you), it was really cool.
Even though the game has a very slow performance, long loading times and quite a few bugs, it's a very awesome game. In fact, IMO it's the best RPG since BG2. If you disagree, try out the Malkavian clan. |

I was wondering if I was the only one experiencing slow performance - sometimes it hangs when the sound stutters, is this normal?
Anyway I've been given a quest where I have to go through some sewers - where are they?? And how do I program my hotkeys? I'm sick of getting killed because I'm trying to cycle through my weapons. |

I got sound stutters definitely. terrible in the city hubs walking outdoors, worst in central la. I have a below specs laptop though.
MAke sure eax is turned off. the sewers are any manhole cover. i didnt program any hotkeys so i dont know sorry. I went through the whole game playing with only the knife and the katana and then pretty much just used the shotgun except for the few levels which were shooting levels which i used the shotgun and whatever came up lol [ 02-01-2005, 09:26 PM: Message edited by: the mighty stamar ] |
