From my experience with BG2 (a 2nd ed. might change things), I'd say try Melf's Minute Meteors, especially if you have a sorcerer. [ 11-06-2002, 02:35 AM: Message edited by: Nanobyte ] |

Below is a cut and paste of my post about it,in a thread/Plead for help on it,that I posted here.... Better explains it. I didn`t think to take a screen shot... was to pissed off... It was just a glitch.. but it was the only critter that Battle squares threw at me... that had a NAME! That`s why I think it was a glitch... ************************************************** ********** I was playing Battle Squares. Was kicking some butt. Pulled the lever to go to level 10. Beet the first monster.. Some fire elemental giant. Next this shadow abashi or something named Curmugeon (may be off on the spell) popped in for the next square.... All the sudden that Ice giant or what ever that controlls the game is GONE. Curmugeon chases my guys to the far left side of the level, and into that room directly behind Nicks..(on the other side of his head board).. I beet the critter. Now I am trapped in the room. The door seems to be sealed. In fact..the door doesn`t even read AS a door anymore. There dosn`t seem to be any way out of the room now. Help!!! P.S One of my guys isn`t stuck in the room, guess the others out ran him...lol I took him back to the battle squars room... and the dude that controlls the game is still GONE.... What`s going on? ************************************************** ************ I wound up loading in a saved game. Wasn`t till later I read a helpfull hint on the board here, and realised I should have just used the cheat console, and "Jumped" my guys out of the room. My two melee fighters were able to make short work of Iron Golems. On had a +4 longsword and the other a +4 greataxe, both specialized with improved critical and strengths from 22 to 25. Usually one of them got targeted by the golems, so I had my priest stand behind that one and cast heal spells on them.
