Well done DS. I remember I passed hazard perception by the skin of my teeth.

Congrats, DS! May you be let loose on the world shortly...
And dplax, didn't Wellard give you enough of a warning? In any case, to add something to the Cafe this afternoon, it's a good thing the kids had the last two days off.... or they'd have been out of school (again!) for snow. After temps in the upper 40s (8-10) on Sunday, we were back down below freezing. I went to work out this morning and the gym was closed... so I went to another location, and saw a number of cars who'd spun off the roads, with their wheels pointed someplace they'd never expect to see them... up in the air! Yep, saw more rollovers today than I've seen in the past five years...

Well done DS
What's going on ? Well i am home sick, my knee has swelled up and the pain is bad when i kneel on it or climb stairs- so no work for me for a few days. X-ray was ok and I am going for a massage this afternoon. I'm bored - that's why I am posting so much

Thanks for the link Wellard. I was going to go look for it on YouTube, but you beat me to the punch.
HEHE...Yep, definitely spelling it right. Good to see you again BTW. Congrats on passing your test DS. So now do you get a license? Or do you still have some sort of practical exam to take? Wellard...UGH! You have my sympathies. Knee injuries are the worst! Hope you get to feeling better soon.

Re: Cloudy's Cafe, A conversation zone! February 18, 2008
To follow up from my morning driving fun, I got to see part of a movie live today!
You've seen (I'm sure!) those scenes on the highway where everyone slams on their brakes, as does the semi, and the trailer slides sideways? That happened this afternoon, on my way home. Someone had spun out into the median, and a tow truck was blocking the inside lane, getting ready to pull them out. Everyone had to move to the right and slow down, and the guy in *front* of the truck apparently slowed seriously... and as the truck slowed, the back end of the trailer started to move sideways, heading towards the tow truck. I figure it would have obliterated the tow truck and also done some serious damage to the bridge just beyond it... Fortunately, the bozo in front of the truck must have sped up, and the trucker was able to regain control. Crisis and messy evening averted... Also, turns out the gym this morning was closed because of a mercury leak... some trace amount from a sphygmanometer, apparently. It'll be open again in the morning... 0530, to be specific. I'll be there around 0600...

Wow Bung that was close, where you driving the other way or were you in the firing line?
Thanks for the well wishes Nachtrafe and Gangrell. It is fluid on the knee the physio says he needs to get rid of the fluid to find the problem but he thinks the inner knee. Just out of interest the physio works on Matt Mladin when he is back in Australia, Mladin is the local hero around here. (Mat has won the American super bike championship about 6 times) Gangrell .. are you saying you could discolate your kneecap? I have seen people do that with the shoulder , but the knee ...
