Hello again!
Well what a wonderful weekend we had with our out of town friends!
We went to the San Antonio Zoo on Friday and had dinner on the Riverwalk.
You can see some of the better zoo pics I took here if you want to:
My Trip To The Zoo

Saturday, we went to The Tower of the Americas, The Riverwalk, The Alamo and (of course ) the RiverCenter Mall. A busy day, we had even more fun and went home more tired than Friday lol! Here are some of the highlights of Saturday:
Saturday In Downtown San Antonio

We spent Sunday in a more local setting, sleeping in late and having lunch in town before our guests returned home.

Hope you enjoy the pics!

What great pics, Moni !

I was born in SA, and love driving down when I can...

It's been called one of the most romantic cities in the States, and has an EXTREMLY culturally diverse population.

and, some of my favorites restaurants in the state!

Fljotsdale & Rudy,
Thank you both SO much! I had such a good time, I hated to see them leave!
I gave Tim my Wizards & Warriors game though so he should pop up as a forum member here sometime soon.

Rudy, you'll have to get together with me and Rex next time you come down!
San Antonio is extremely romantic isn't it?
The next time our friends come down, we are going to do one of the River boat rides at night.

What are your favorite restaurants in SA? We'll treat you on your next visit.
Mine are The Salt Grass, Karem's, and Fara's.
I love good food!

If I may answer for Jabidas and all munchie lovers world-wide...it's easy...you just open the bag of M&M's, pour them onto the popcorn, wait a few minutes (so they can get warm ), and then shake the popcorn bucket so that they all get lost amongst the popped kernels. Every few bites has a soft warm M&M in it and it is SOOOOOO good!

Don't tell me you don't get any type of vacation this year! I'll cry!
We only live thirty miles away from San Antonio, so it was more just out having fun with our friends than a vacation. Two whole days with them seemed like a weeks worth of fun though! Of course if I had a whole week, I would be headed back to Arizona!
