whats your favorite weapon in BG?????

Does anyone have a Fave weapon made up or not does'nt matter

With the DSOTSC expansion, it's the Throwing Axes/Returning from the smith (extra fire damage)

Well, recently My favorite became SpiderBane (for main char), World's edge for Minsc, whistling sword for SharTeel, Warhammer+2 for Bramwenn, Slings+1 for Imoen and Dynaheir, but the last three almost never fight physically.

I like the two handed sword +3 you get at the end of the chess game. That and the short sword of backstabbing. Also that sword you get from Greywolf, (I can't quite remember the name) that ones cool.

The weapon that I use, is "The Spiders Bane".I really like that sword.Others weapons I use in my party are "Warhammer +2","Staff + 3","Short Sword Of Backstabbing","Composite Bow Of Accuracy","Light Crossbow of Speed" and "Bastard Sword +1 (+3 Shapeshifters)

Although I have never had it,the fabled "Frostband" is meant to be one of the best weapons on the game. Beaumanoir pickpocketed Drizzit to get it!It's a Scimitar +3. CLASS!

the sword from Greywolf: Long Sword +2: 'Varscona'(+1 cold damage)

its my favorite, you get it very early

usually i go straight south as a ranger or paladin - with Imoen - to get this sword, Imoen 'bows' him down => much exp. + nearly best weapon

Yes, the sword of Greywolf is a good one. I also like the Flame Sword which you can find in Durlag´s Tower. That´s my warrior´s preferred weapon, with five "*" on long swords...

Wow, that´s interesting. In the german version, this sword is called "Rancor"...

Well I have to agree with most of you. I played a thief and I used the long sword of varscona. And then the short sword of backstabbing. And of coarse spiderbane which minsc used. Which is a powerful sword and as far as getting the frostbane I never did try to get it I really think that you should not be allowed to, come on pickpocket the mighty one. ok later cool post
