If I was up to it, I could have gotten the book on Waterdeep, but the Icewind Dale trilogy was beckoning my name. Anyways, there is another trilogy with a book about Waterdeep as the third. I read the back (can't remember what it said though), I think there was something in there about Cyric the Mad, but I'm not sure. Any more info on this matter would be appreciated by everyone.. Or should I say, "More coming soon"?

Well, Wyv, most people were wondering why they had to be a "Waterdeep Guard" when they didn't even know where or what Waterdeep was. I am simply posting it here so people will know. I thought my little tid bits would be appreciated..

But you didn't say anything about that, Nano. I certainly didn't make the connection. I think most people have figured out that the stars and titles are just meant to be fun and aren't too concerned about it.

"Waterdeep" is the title of the 3rd book in the Avatar trilogy by Richard Awlinson. The first two books are "Shadowdale" and "Tantras". It deals with the story of how the then current gods of Faerun have taken on mortal avatars in search of the Tablets of Fate and of a group of mortals who finally ascend to godhood, including Cyric. All in all, a great read.
